Twisted Media provides television and feature film productions with graphics and animation for playback and post. Our creative team collaborates with productions all over the world to deliver story-driven on-screen graphics and visual effects ranging from simple plot-driving text messages to complex 3d holographic interfaces.

Derek started Twisted Media in 1999 with the goal of putting together a creative collective capable of working at the highest levels of broadcast and feature production. Over 20 years later, the team of talented and diverse designers, animators, programmers and producers has top notch productions under it’s belt…and is ready for any new challenge.

Chris is a visionary Creative Director and an accomplished Playback Graphic Supervisor, renowned for leading dynamic design teams and delivering exceptional UI & UX design solutions for the film and television industry in Production and Post Production VFX. With a portfolio boasting several accolades, Chris has played a pivotal role in shaping the visual experiences of critically acclaimed projects such as Westworld, Star Trek: Picard, Fallout, Godzilla and Captain America: New World Order. His expertise and innovative approach have consistently elevated the storytelling medium.
CLARK STANTON
CREATIVE DIRECTOR, PLAYBACK GRAPHICS SUPERVISOR
Clark plays a crucial role in empowering our team of designers, ensuring the creation of exceptional work for all of our projects. With a sharp eye for detail and a healthy amount of pragmatism, Clark oversees a variety of assignments while maintaining an emphasis on collaboration and innovation. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, Clark has contributed to notable feature films such as Free Guy, Morbius, Black Panther 2 and Moonfall, as well as numerous television projects including Chicago MED, Empire, and Next.

Charissa loves details and specializes in Making it Happen. She brought her considerable theater and project management experience to Twisted Media in 2017. She keeps the Team’s creative processes running smoothly across multiple tv shows, films, and time zones.

Casey Feldt is a storyteller and filmmaker who broke into the film industry as an editor in 2009. In 2019, he joined Twisted Media Inc where he continues to grow as a person and artist always looking forward to the next challenge to solve.
DESIGN
TOM SLATTERY
PLAYBACK GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Tom started working with Derek as early as 1998…but back then it was guitars and synthesizers, not Photoshop and After Effects. After many years of making music, then moving on to corporate graphics, they landed their first show, Leverage (TNT; 77 episodes 2008-2012). This led to many other shows and opportunities, and finally to Tom joining the TM team full time in 2015. When he’s not pushing pixels, Tom enjoys photography and terrorizing his children by playing guitar loudly along to Tool songs.

PLAYBACK GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Chambi is a talented and valued member of the TM GFX team, bringing with him years of experience in the field. he entered the playback graphics arena through Warner Bros. back in 2011, and has worked on a variety of TV shows like Pretty Little Liars, The Mentalist, and Major crimes. Recent Feature work includes Pacific Rim: Uprising, Rampage and Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

Noah joined Twisted Media in 2016 after 5 years of art direction and motion design experience in advertising. In addition to his contributions to Twisted Media, he is also a collaborator with Chicago based artist collective Canvas Chicago.

Jeff joined Twisted Media in 2016 after 15 years of making digital and video content for a Chicago ad agency. His hobby is collecting hobbies, and his favorite time signature is 11/8. Don’t even get him started on modular synthesizers.

Mike is a design powerhouse! Coming for the advertising and web development world, he brings a ton of real world experience and speed to the table. His contributions can be seen in many if not most of Twisted’s recent work!

Mike’s first experience with Twisted Media was on set, where he was an actor on a show we were doing graphics for. Who knew he would end up focusing on his design career, and contribute to that same show in a different way! Mike’s talents in graphic & UI design have contributed to myriad shows since he joined the team in 2021.

Brigitte has been in the film industry since 2010 as a video playback operator, video assist operator, and video playback designer. She uses her on set experience to create interactive graphics that are not only gorgeous but also playback friendly.

Cody is a visual storyteller who passionately pours himself into bringing a concept to life through design and animation. He also pours himself an occasional home brewed beer.
TOM FIRESTONE

Tom Firestone is a motion graphics designer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film from the School of Visual Arts in NYC, specializing in interactive fictional user interfaces. He has extensive experience working on TV shows and movies such as “The Blacklist” (100+ episodes), “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt S3,” Ridley Scott’s Netflix heist series, “Kaleidoscope S1,” American Horror Story” S12, “Tokyo Vice” S2 and many others.
